Helios is the most famous weaver in history. He’s an immortal grandmaster, born in ancient Greece who has lived up until today. He founded the Continental Academy1 and contributed to the creation of the Weaving Association.2 He aided the development of most common techniques and many traditional ones as well.
Biography
Helios was born in Greece in 569 AD from a noble family related to the priestess of the Sun. At the time, Blood Weaving was still in its infancy compared to the modern day, only basic form of weaving were available to its practitioner. At a young age, Helios was recognized for his gifts, he was the first recorded Calamity in history. After being recognized as a high weaver by the Roman Emperor, he began revolutionizing the art of weaving. He contributed to the creation of most common techniques and many inherited ones.
After the fall of Rome, he lived as a hermit, moving between the Balkans and Turkey, making very few documented appearances. He remained hidden during the witch hunts launched against weavers by the Church, and only returned to public life in the 1700s.
He then contributed to the founding of the Continental Academy and the Weaving Association. He is now a prominent figure in the weaving community and his fame reaches every corner of the globe.
Stats
Thanks to thousands of years of practiced weaving and training, Helios transformed his body from that of a regular human being into a titan-like body. He is 190cm tall and extremely muscular. He has superhuman strength and durability even without using his weaving techniques.
Forge
Helios’ technique was molded after the sun’s destructive abilities. He transforms the air in his bloodright to plasma by ionizing it with a transmutation process.
- Jet: he can shoot plasma in a given direction at high speed and pressure. By joining his hands together, he can create a stream of plasma that destroys everything it touches.
- Zenith, White Giant: Increases the temperature of everything in his birthright to an extreme degree, creating a rapid expansion in the air and burning everything.
- Divine trait, Phoenix: The personification of Life leads an existence without end. As life consumes to perpetuate itself, Divine Life consumes itself to be endlessly reborn. Every time he dies, Helios’ corpse spontaneously combusts, and he descends back to Earth in a beam of iridescent light.
